Clay Brick Ovens In True Neapolitan Style

At Chicago Brickhouse, Our Master Masons hand-craft each wood burning clay brick pizza oven using a traditional design that originated in Rome, Italy over 2000 years ago.

These Ovens are hand built in Chicago, Illinois using reclaimed clay bricks. Using Clay bricks is the only true way to construct and build a pizza Oven.

Our Process

A Chicago Brickhouse Oven Install

The Chicago Brickhouse Ovens Inc. Difference

Our Process

Reclaimed Bricks + A Patent Process of Refractory Insulation

Allows our ovens to reach true Neapolitan pizza cooking temperatures of 900 degrees Fahrenheit in 45 to 60 minutes. This means you can make a true and delicious Neapolitan Pizza in 90 seconds flat. Our clay brick ovens use less fuel, and retain heat for a longer period of baking time.

The Competition

Refractory Castable Concrete

Today, our competition molds their ovens using refractory castable concrete. This concrete foundation may take up to three (3) to four (4) hours for the inside of the oven to reach a cooking temperature of 900 degrees Fahrenheit. This same castable refractory concrete is designed to reflect heat not absorb heat and in time it this will cause it to crumble with repeated use.
